Sunday school classes are held at the church, beginning at 9:15 am each Sunday.  Classes are provided for pre-schoolers, kindergartners, grades 1 through 8, and a confirmation class for 9th graders.  The Church School also hosts many special activities throughout the year.  Additionally, the Church School sponsors six children in Kenya, by paying for their primary education at a cost of $35 per student per year.  Our church also participates in the "Soda Tab Project", as headed by the Hamburg Baptist Church.  Soda tabs are collected, which when a total of 10,000 is reached, provide for one leukemia treatment for a young boy, as well as others who need them.  The First Presbyterian Church of Franklin also holds "VBS", or Vacation Bible School each summer, which is open for all local children to attend.
